My Own Sky

For a long time, I thought happiness was something I found outside myself. I borrowed it from moments, connections, and the feeling of being loved.

I now call it borrowed happiness.

With time, I learned that my joy, my dreams, my voice, and my sense of worth do not need to come from anywhere else. They belong to me and my soul.

My Own Sky is about that quiet realization. I am happy with who I have become, proud of the journey that brought me here, and finally at peace with being myself.

I no longer borrow happiness from the world. I have found my own sky, and everything I feel here belongs to me.
